How To Configure Yealink Base

Follow these steps to configure a W60B or W70B phone base

1. Create an instance in 3cx
   Log into your 3cx portal.  If you need to locate the portal, log into portal.3cx.com with your credentials and locate the URL to the portal you need to add.  If you need to create a 3CX instance, then visit this Knowledgebase article first.
2. Log into the 3cx Instance
   1. 1. Click on Advanced / FXS/DECT
         1. Click on Add FXS/DECT
            1. Drop down Brand and choose Yealink
            2. Model Yealink W60B
            3. Enter the MAC Address from your phone, which can be gotten by going to the IP of the phone base, logging in, clicking on status, and look under Network Common.  *** REMOVE THE : in Mac address ie:
               

               80:5E:0C:1C:F6:0C becomes 805E)C1CF60C

            4. Click OK
         2. New page will be displayed, add the provisioning link to the CRM and note that, as you will need it in the next step.
3. Configure The Base
   1. Plug the base in, locate it's IP, then web to that IP
   2. UserID & PW is admin / admin
   3. Click on Settings in the top of the page
      1. Scroll to Auto Provision on the left side
         1. IPv4 DHCP Option Value - yealink
         2. Server URL is the provision URL from either CRM or 3cx, see above Provisioning URL.
         3. Click Confirm at the bottom of the page, to save your settings.
         4. Click on Auto Provision Now
   4. Next click on Account
      1. Line Active - Change to Enabled
         1. Label - User's Name typed out ie: Jim Davis
         2. Display Name - User's Name Typed Out ie: Jim Davis
         3. Register Name -
            On the 3cx Instance, click on the extension, then on Phone Provisioning.  Register Name is the ID
         4. User Name - The Extension that the phone will be.
         5. Password - On your 3cx instance, click the show password link, then copy and paste that password.
         6. Server Host for SIP Server1 - Enter the URL to your 3cx instance, ie: https://yoursite.3cx.us/#/app/extension_editor/8/phone_provisioning becomes yoursite.3cx.us
         7. Save
      2. Ensure the connection says registered
   5. Add all handhelds to the phone system.

Some Notes:

If you can't get the UserID/Password to manage the phone base, enter the provisioning URL into a browser, and download the config file, search that file for Password, and the UserID/Password set up by 3CX will appear.
